Fixes / Additions have been applied to the following areas
- Hide/Show signatures option in the forum member profile, thanks goes to Fusion for dropping the idea.
- A few visual fixes added to member edit profile page, boxes and styles.
Anime Videos area on website added to the future project list
Last weekend I've started researching new useful additions for the website. I came down with the idea
to create an area where members can add their favorite videos from the following video streaming
providers: YouTube, MetaCafe, Stage6, Veoh, GoogleVideo and GreekTube.
This function will utilize a Direct-Embed-Generator I recently developed for all 6 video providers.
The DEG system will utilize and convert any video URL into a valid embed feed code to use within
animeplanet.gr pages. This includes also the thumb image.
Videos are split in 5 separated categories: Anime Trailers, Anime OPs/EDs, Anime Music Videos, Japanese Video Clips and Japanese Funny Videos. This will also utilize a Link-To-Anime function, which allows the publishers to add that specific video to the "related videos" list of a specific anime placed
in the animeplanet.gr database. Here's a sneak peak.
