Thinking about people like you, it may be a little unfair, but sometimes you simply can?t be fair to everyone. You must see that I am in a new band now. Yes I was in another one before, but that was long ago. Don?t expect us to play songs from my old band, because we wanna play our new songs: songs of SupaRed! I don?t wanna live in the past. Maybe I shouldn?t say never, but that?s how I feel now. And if the record doesn?t sell enough, there won?t even be a tour anyway. We?ll see. |

Συνήθως το black metal προσδιορίζεται πρώτα από τον στίχο, και μετά από τα μουσικά στοιχεία. Εξ' άλλου όπως θα έχετε παρατηρήσει, είναι ένας τομέας της metal που είναι πολύ ανοιχτός σε νέα στοιχεία και παρατηρούνται πάρα πολλές διαφοροποιήσεις μεταξύ των black metal bands. Εγώ δεν τα διαχώριζα -όσον αφορά την μουσική- σε "true" και "untrue", αλλά μάλλον σε "unholy" (αυτό που λέμε κλασσικό black metal, και κατά ένα μεγάλο μέρος αυτό στο οποίο αναφέρεται ο Darkthrone λέγοντας "true"), "atmospheric" όπου εντάσσονται bands όπως Ulver, In The Woods, Sentenced etc, και "new age" που έχουν εισάγει πολλά στοιχεία από διαφορετικούς χώρους με συγκροτήματα όπως Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir.
Αυτά, και πάντα προσωπική άποψη. |
